Career Mark meets national standard - November 2011

Career Mark has been further developed to ensure it achieves accreditation within the new overarching national 'Quality in Careers' standard.  Colleagues from the Career Mark team were on the national taskforce defining the national framework and developing guidelines on its use.  Achieving Career Mark therefore evidences that your organisation meets national standards for CEIAG.

Our new framework, Career Mark 6, will be available from April 2012.  In the meantime, if you'd like to find out more contact Gary Longden or
Linda Bristow.

Guidance Networks continues to connect - October, 2011

Two associates of the Guidance Network – John Ambrose and Mark Wilkinson – have been invited to address the international 21st century learning conference being held in Banff, Canada.

The conference will explore how learning and career progression can be developed in the 21st century. Organisations like Apple and speakers like Sir Ken Robinson will be contributing their ideas to the conference.

Mark will talk to delegates on how complex adaptive systems can be used to develop an infrastructure to support career learning, using Lincolnshire’s Guidance Network as his example. John will focus on how quality awards – like Career Mark - can effect institutional change and bring benefits to career learners.
