Membership

We are introducing a completely new charging structure.   The cost of Career Mark has always been underwritten by the statutory careers service or the statutory Connexions service.  The termination of that statutory responsibility brought about by the 2011 Education Act means that Career Mark now has to be self sustaining.  However, with the structural changes we have made we have been able to keep overall costs down.  We have introduced an annual membership fee which we hope you will consider represents excellent value for money when you see the new website.  We have retained the initial assessment processes you will be familiar with but the price has increased slightly to take into account the new assessment and we have introduced a new and much simpler and cheaper revalidation process.  Taken together and over time (and many of you have been with us for over 10 years already) we calculate that the costs will be no more than at present.

Payments methods

 

The Career Mark website allows customers to make online payments. If you hold a debit card from any UK bank you can now pay your bills via the Internet free of charge. If you need any assistance, please call our Finance Team on 0115 9601571. This service is available 09:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

1. Membership fees and annual subscription

The membership fees shall run from the dates advised by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures Ltd and these will reflect the appropriate period paid for and will commence from the date that monies are received by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures. Annual subscriptions will be for the term advised and paid for and renewals will be requested within 1 month of their expiry. No refunds will be given for memberships surrendered.

 

2. Invalidation of membership 

The membership fees cover only the member establishment and any transferring of the membership or the use of the membership details by another body is strictly precluded. Any failure to comply with this restriction will invalidate the membership. The membership is for your institution only and the password and log in is for sole use of your institution, any sharing of these details outside of your institution is a fundamental breach of the agreement and will terminate the membership agreement without refund. 3. Payment

Payments can be made via the methods advised by the company and will be confirmed by an official invoice to each member organization. The receipt of the payment will become the date that the membership commences.

 

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights

All copyright and Intellectual Property Rights for all material on the Career Mark website shall remain with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Futures Ltd and any violation of these rights will invalidate the membership. We will also seek legal and financial; redress where appropriate.
